On 3 October 2018, the Conference "Unlocking the Power of 4.7 - The Role of Global Citizenship Education in Achieving Sustainable Development" within the Bridge 47 Project will take place in Brussels, Belgium.
Bridge 47 – Building Global Citizenship is a project co-created and implemented by 15 European and global civil society organisations, including the Finnish NGDO Platform to the European Union, Kehys (Finland), a Forum member organisation. The project seeks to mobilise and empower global civil society to contribute to a transformation towards global justice and eradication of poverty through Global Citizenship Education (GCE).
Cláudia Cassoma was invited by CIVICUS, a Steering Committee member of the initiative. As one of the two international organizations in this initiative, CIVICUS' key role is to broaden this quite euro-focused initiative in its action and thinking, by getting actors from different regions of the world meaningfully engaged.
